Cihan Türkoğlu was born in Turkey in 1983 and he began studying the Turkish folk lute known as bağlama (saz) when he was 14 years old. At the age of 17 he received third prize for his performing skills in a regional music competition and, at the age of 18, commenced his studies in classical at the Marmara University in Istanbul focusing on the cello. At the university he had the opportunity to study harmony, choral music, piano, music history, orchestration, traditional Turkish music and dances, and cello.
Hooshang Farahani was born (1967) in Farahan (the central province of Iran).
He is a graduate of Psychology, Educational science and Ethnomusicology (Art University of Tehran). He has started learning Tar and Setar at a young age and later has continued with the music composition.
Manos Achalinotopoulos, considered by critics, composers and musicologists as the best clarinet performer of the new generation in Greece. He has traveled playing clarinet, cawal, shawm and flutes in more than 20 countries all over the world, while participating in concerts and Festivals of great prestige. What makes him so special is the mixing of the traditional style of playing the clarinet and its special idioms with Jazz, Balkan Ethnic style and influences of the western music.
Bijan Chemirani, learned to play the zarb with his father Djamchid Chemirani and his brother Keyvan. Encouraged by them, he began at a very early age to work in concert and make recordings with musicians such as Ross Daly, Dariush Talai, Ballaké Sissoko, Jean Guihen Queyras, Sylvain Luc, Sting, Socrates Sinopoulos, Serge Teyssot Gai, Renaud Garcia Fons. Living in Marseille, Bijan is in close contact with the Mediterranean culture and with that of Occitania. His open mind enables him to increase his capacities constantly.
Ahmet Erdoğdular started studying music at an early age with his father, neyzen Ömer Erdoğdular, and continued his musical development with the guidance of the renowned musician Niyazi Sayın. He participated in various concerts as a lead singer while still a teenager. Ahmet holds a BA degree from the Istanbul Technical University State Conservatory where he also completed his Masters degree in Turkish Classical Music under the guidance of Professor Alaeddin Yavaşça.
